Why This Industry
Candidate data is some of the most regulated data a business handles, which makes most cloud AI tools a compliance problem for recruiters rather than a productivity win. Knovik approaches recruitment tech from both sides of that tension: EdgeTal runs candidate screening entirely on-device so CV data never reaches a third-party cloud, and HireSignal is EU-hosted and GDPR-by-design for teams comfortable with SaaS. Both are dogfooded daily in our own placement work, so the tools reflect what recruiters actually do, not what a product manager imagined they do.
